Why is my grass dying where my dog(s) typically urinate?
Dog urine contains a very high ammount of ammonia. While ammonia is actually a fertilizer,
when deposited in high ammounts in a very concentrated area (i.e. when a dog urinates), it will actually burn the grass, and kill it.
There are several things you can do to repair and further prevent this problem:
Water greatly the area(s) that are commonly used by your dog
Replace the dead grass areas with a patch of sod
Train your dog to use an area that is concrete, or that is more urine resistant
